About Our Sacco
Kwetu Sacco Society Ltd was registered in 1967 under the Co-operative Society Act to bring together teachers, to mobilize their savings for the economic empowerment per the cooperative principles. The Sacco is licensed by Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA) as a Deposit Taking Sacco (DTS) and offers both Back Office Service Activities (BOSA) and Front Office Service Activities (FOSA). Kwetu Sacco is managed through a Board of directors that is elected by the delegates at the Annual Delegates Meeting (ADM) and full-time staff lead by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who oversees the day-to-day operations of the Sacco.
The Sacco objectives are;
- To satisfy the financial needs of its members by helping them improve their economic status
- To expand the portfolio and consequently increase the surplus of the Sacco
- To improve the return on equity and return on assets to the benchmark level of the sector

The strategic direction is based on the analysis of the current performance, the operating environment, including the economic outlook, customer and stakeholder analysis, Pestel analysis and SWOT analysis.
